Opmerking: Graeme Barclay (2022-03-18) - If anyone has a yellow-floral bract clone of this species - as per the first photo in the resources section - I would be very interested to hear of it. The only known photograph is in Elton Leme's Canistrum book and it does not seem to be in cultivation.
Opmerking: Graeme Barclay (2022-08-30) - I saw a plant of W. gigantea at MSBG in June 2022 tagged as 1999-0111 that came from Elton with yellow floral bracts), but no inflorescence photos were available in the archives to confirm. Refer other photo posted in this gallery.
