Opmerking (15551): (2018-11-10) - The pale pink, pointed sepals, the pale gold/greenish petals, the shape, colour and size of the floral bracts, and the randomly mottled foliage all suggest the Colombian form of Billbergia stenopetala. Opmerking (15551): (2018-11-13) - Correction - by 'floral bracts'. I was referring to the large, pink primary bracts (peduncle bracts). Agree with Eric that the short or lacking floral bracts of this form are closer to Bi. rosea. The pale pink, almost white, sepals are triangular-lanceolate, attenuate, and almost three-times longer than they are wide, as per the description for Bi. stenopetala. The triangular sepals of Bi. rosea are considerably shorter. There are morphological differences in the Peruvian and Ecuadorian forms also identified as Bi. stenopetala (right or wrong).
