Aechmea hellae Weber[as Aechmea hellae W. Weber Feddes Repert.]

Observations: —Mr. Seidel found this handsome aechmea, which is closely related to Ae. aquilega, growing on rocks in full sun in a very arid region (nine months without rainfall).
