Guzmania kennedyae L.B.Sm. & R.W.Read
Taxonomic Change:
- Considered a good species on its own, with denser inflorescence (sublax in the protolog), flowers and bracts in an angle of about 45o (vs. 50-90o), and all floral bracts much longer than the calyx (vs. only the lower longer, the others to much shorter) and lustrous (vs. dull), petals about twice as long or longer then the sepals (vs. much less than twice) (personal communication with Eric Gouda [2020])
