Etymology: The specific epithet "organensis" refers to the type locality of this taxon in Serra dos Órgãos, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Distribution: Brazil, Rio de Janeiro

Habitat: epiphytically on lianas in the shaded forest at the margins of rivers, 100–660 m. Elev.

Etymology: Named after the region it was found, Serra dos Órgãos

Phenology: Flower buds often observed in November, flowering in December and January, and fruiting in March and April.
