Distribution: MÉXICO: Jalisco

Habitat: Saxicolous vertical rock walls in the mountains of the Pacific Lowlands, 1060-1130 m. Elev.

Etymology: Specific epithet refers to the municipality of Tequila, Jalisco, where the new species was discovered.
