Habitat: Epiphytic in cloud forest, ca. 2000 m. Elev.

Etymology: The epithet ‘luteoviridispica’ is a combination of ‘luteus’ (yellow), ‘viridi’ (green) and ‘spica’ (spike), because of the yellowish-green spikes

Phenology: Flowered in culture in August
