Distribution: COLOMBIA: Antioquia

Habitat: Terrestrial in an isolated páramo formation located at the northern portion of the Western Cordillera, 3100−3500 m. Elev.

Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the department of Antioquia in Colombia, to which this species is endemic
