Distribution: VENEZUELA; Bolivar (Cerro Jaua).

Habitat: Saxicolous in open areas on tepui summit and slopes,, 400-2000 ; m. Elev.

Etymology: Named in honor of the botanist Harrold Robinson of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC
