Type: Hortus Duval s n (holotype LG ?, n v), without exact locality, Brazil. Without a specimen, the original description and colored illustration are quite adequate to typify the species. Doubtfully supposed to have come from Binot of Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
