Distribution: BRAZIL; Rio de Janeiro,

Habitat: rupicolous or epiphytic, endemic to a restricted corridor in the southeast portion of the Atlantic Pluvial Forest, 650-900 m. Elev.

Phenology: It flowers from June to August; ripe fruits were observed in September and December.
