Distribution: BRAZIL; Bahia,

Habitat: forms large populations, but is restricted to small areas, always occurring directly on rock (Fig. 50 - A).

Phenology: Collections with flowers prove this is accomplished between the months of December and April and in fruit, mainly, in the month of April.
