Distribution: COSTA RICA; PANAMA; EL SALVADOR;

Habitat: in the lower montane wet forest and rain forest life zones and the premontane and montane rain forest life zones., 1500-2800 m. Elev.

Phenology: Flowering specimens have been collected in March through July with a distinct peak occurring March-May.
