Distribution: BRAZIL: Minas Gerais

Habitat: terrestrial or rupicolous in Atlantic forest, 1700-2000 m. Elev.

Etymology: The epithet refers to the county of Aiuruoca, Minas Gerais State, where this new taxon was discovered.
