10280 - Bromeliads (Garden) - 2012-08-08 (Dimension: 1360 x 2050 pixels - Counter: 14781) Tillandsia usneoides Photographer: Eric Gouda Note: My Sere is too dry for many T.usneoides forms, especially for the greener ones. This one is with me for more than 30 years and became less and less (both in size and beauty) after we moved to current house and build this Sere at the back of it( SWW). It is a very coarse one with much thicker and densely lepidote leaves. I couldn't take it any longer and took what was left to the Botanic Garden and over there it started growing like hell. Now it was flowering very abundantly with about twice the size of flowers my normal Venezuelan type has (that does not matter where I hang it). You can't see it from the picture, but still very nice.
