- Identification: HEL (2011-05-18) =Tillandsia denudata OR possibly T. clavigera
- short decurved spikes. Hard to tell T. d and T. c. apart without specimen in hand. FOE always had this confused with T. tovarensis.
- Identification: Walter Till (2011-05-18) =Tillandsia clavigera
- I agree with Harry, most likeley T. clavigera
- Identification: Matthias Asmuss (2011-05-19) =Tillandsia denudata
- until now localities for Ti clavigera are only Amazonas, Mérida and Táchira state acc. to a list by Bruce Holst / Yuribia Arroyo in "Nuevo catálogo de la flora vascular de Vzla"; my pics are from the Coastal Range where Ti denudata is reported in Dist. Federal and Miranda state; but features still to check (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
