Fosterella

Locality: Bolivia -
Photographer: Sonny Garcia
- Identification (19946): Sonny Garcia (2026-08-25) =Fosterella villosula
 - Note (19946): Eric Gouda (2026-09-10) - I have asked Jule Peters, the specialist and this is her reply: in my opinion, it“s a Fosterella penduliflora - because of the reddish colour and the glabrous, glaucous inflorescence.
I“ve seen these bulb like structures quite often in cultivated Fosterella plants - either as vegetative offshoots or after reduction of the "ordinary" leave blades during development of the inflorescence (especially when the conditions are suboptimal). (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
